AGARTALA: Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha offered a counter-response in the Assembly on Friday after Jitendra Chaudhury and Sudip Roy Barman raised concerns over the state’s education system and infrastructure during discussions in the House.
The opposition members reportedly flagged issues related to the condition of schools, teaching infrastructure, and overall quality of education in the state, pressing the government to address longstanding gaps in the sector.
Responding to the concerns, the Chief Minister presented the government’s position, countering the claims made by the opposition leaders and outlining steps taken by the administration to strengthen the education system.
The exchange added to the broader discourse on education-related issues during the ongoing Assembly session, with both sides putting forward contrasting assessments of the state’s academic infrastructure.
