AIDYO Delegation Leaves for Kolkata to Attend National Youth Convention

AGARTALA: A delegation from the All India Democratic Youth Organisation (AIDYO) departed for Kolkata on Thursday to take part in the National Youth Convention.

Members of the organisation left the state to join the convention, which is expected to bring together youth representatives from various parts of the country to deliberate on issues concerning the youth.

The convention is being seen as an important platform for youth organisations to discuss matters affecting young people, including employment, education, and social concerns, though the detailed agenda for this year’s event is yet to be made public.

AIDYO, which has a long-standing presence in Tripura, has historically used such national platforms to raise state-specific concerns alongside national issues affecting the youth.

Further details regarding the delegation’s composition, the names of its members, the convention’s full agenda, and the schedule of events in Kolkata are awaited at the time of filing this report.
