AGARTALA: Dr. Vishal Kumar, District Magistrate & Collector of West Tripura, addressed a press conference on Self-Enumeration in connection with the Census of India-2027, held at the Conference Hall of the DM & Collector’s Office here.
The press conference was organised to brief media representatives on the self-enumeration process, a key component of the upcoming national census exercise, ahead of its rollout in the district.
Officials from the District Magistrate’s office are expected to have outlined the procedure, timeline, and public participation mechanisms for self-enumeration, aimed at ensuring accurate and comprehensive data collection for Census 2027.
The DM’s office had invited media houses to depute representatives for coverage of the briefing.
