GOMATI: Health Secretary Kiran Gitte on Tuesday inspected the Gomati District Hospital, reviewing the facility’s infrastructure and healthcare services.
During the visit, the Health Secretary is understood to have assessed various departments of the hospital, including patient care facilities, availability of medical staff, and essential equipment, as part of efforts to strengthen healthcare delivery in the district.
Senior hospital officials and district health department personnel accompanied the Health Secretary during the inspection.
The visit comes amid ongoing efforts by the state Health Department to improve service standards across district hospitals in Tripura, with officials periodically conducting inspections to identify gaps and ensure better patient care.
