Agartala: The Har Ghar Tiranga programme is being observed across the state, in line with the nationwide campaign running from August 9 to August 17. Various programmes, rallies, and awareness drives are being organised throughout Tripura to encourage citizens to hoist the national flag at their homes.
The campaign aims to deepen respect and emotional connection towards the national flag among the general public, while spreading the message of patriotism and national unity in the run-up to Independence Day.
As part of the initiative, school and college students from the state’s tribal communities organised a well-decorated Tiranga rally on Wednesday. The rally began from Vivekananda Maidan and wound through several roads of the city before concluding at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan.
Participants carried the national flag and banners promoting the Har Ghar Tiranga message, drawing attention from residents along the route. The rally reflected growing participation from the state’s younger generation in the campaign, which continues with further activities planned across Tripura in the lead-up to August 15.
