Dhalai: Minister Ratan Lal Nath chaired his first administrative meeting in Dhalai district on Thursday in his capacity as Guardian Minister, held at the office of the District Magistrate.
The meeting was attended by elected public representatives from all levels within the district, along with senior officials from various line departments. Participants undertook a detailed review of ongoing development projects, administrative functioning, and public welfare schemes being implemented across Dhalai.
During the session, the Minister is understood to have taken stock of the progress of key government initiatives and directed officials to ensure the timely and effective execution of development works. Emphasis was also placed on improving coordination between different departments to expedite delivery of public services to residents of the district.
As Guardian Minister, Nath is responsible for overseeing the implementation of state government policies and development programmes in Dhalai, and his first such administrative review is expected to set the tone for the district’s priorities in the coming months.
The meeting concluded with officials being asked to submit updated action plans and progress reports on pending projects to ensure accountability and sustained development momentum in the district.
