AGARTALA:Four Left-affiliated youth organisations jointly submitted a deputation to the Health Department authorities at Gorkha Basti in Agartala, placing before them a four-point charter of demands concerning healthcare services in the area.
Representatives of the youth wings gathered at the health department premises to hand over the memorandum, highlighting what they described as pressing concerns related to the functioning of health services accessible to residents of the locality.
The joint deputation reflects continued engagement by Left-affiliated youth bodies on public health issues in the state capital’s outskirts. Such deputations are typically aimed at drawing administrative attention to grievances and demanding time-bound redressal from concerned departments.
Officials at the Health Department are yet to issue a formal response to the demands raised.
