AGARTALA: A discussion meeting on the significance of the ongoing teachers’-employees’ movement was held at Student Health Home here, organised at the call of the Tripura Karmachari Samannay Committee, H.B. Road.
The meeting drew the participation of Subhash Lamba, President of the All India State Government Employees’ Federation, along with other senior leaders and representatives of various employee bodies.
Speakers at the event reportedly underscored the importance of unity among teachers and government employees in the current circumstances, calling for sustained collective action to press their demands. The gathering is seen as part of a broader effort to mobilise support for the movement across the state, with employee associations seeking to strengthen coordination ahead of further agitation programmes.
