UDAIPUR: Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu undertook an extensive tour of Udaipur subdivision on Monday, visiting schools and children’s homes to review facilities and interact directly with students and residents.
The Governor was accompanied throughout by Gomati District Magistrate Rinku Lather, Additional SP Rishabh, and senior officials from the Education and Social Welfare departments.
At PM SHRI Tepania Colony High School, the Governor planted a tree before making a surprise inspection of classrooms, the mid-day meal kitchen, staff room, and student toilets, interacting with teachers and students along the way. Students later presented a dance and yoga performance in his honour.
He then visited Alor Disha Children’s Home in Shalgarha, run by Ramakrishna Adarsha Yoga Sadhana Ashram, where he spoke at length with resident children, caretakers, and staff about their needs, in the presence of ashram founder Krishnajyoti Prana and Social Welfare Secretary Tapan Kumar Das.
In the final phase, the Governor inspected Khilpara Balak Shishu Niketan, reviewing bedrooms, toilets, and classrooms, and issued directives to officials on maintaining infrastructure.
Speaking to reporters afterward, the Governor shared his observations on infrastructure development and the future of the students.
