AGARTALA: The golden jubilee celebration of the Taxes Organisation was held at Pragya Bhawan here, marking fifty years of the body’s service and contribution.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha graced the occasion as chief guest, alongside Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy and other dignitaries associated with the organisation.
Speaking on the occasion, the dignitaries reportedly reflected on the organisation’s journey over the past five decades and its role in the state’s taxation and revenue framework. The event served as an opportunity to recognise the contributions of members, both past and present, who have been part of the organisation’s growth.
The programme was attended by officials, employees, and members associated with the Taxes Organisation, along with other invited guests from various departments.
The celebration featured speeches, felicitations, and reflections on the organisation’s five-decade legacy, with leaders emphasising the importance of continued efficiency and modernisation in tax administration to serve the people of Tripura better.
The Chief Minister and other leaders reportedly extended their best wishes to the organisation on this milestone occasion.
