AGARTALA: Senior BJP functionaries visited veteran party worker Pramod Ranjan Das at GB Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment for ill health, and extended financial assistance to his family.
Das, remembered as a stalwart of the party from Khowai’s early and difficult days, has been admitted to the hospital for medical care. On learning of his condition, and acting on the instructions of the State BJP President, a delegation of senior leaders visited him to inquire about his health and offer support.
The delegation included Pradesh BJP General Secretary Bipin Debbarma, Khowai District President Samir Kumar Das, and Mandal President Anukulu Das. During the visit, the leaders spent time with Das, wished him a speedy recovery, and handed over financial assistance to his family to help with treatment expenses.
Party leaders reportedly praised Das’s long-standing contribution to strengthening the BJP’s organisational base in Khowai during its formative years, describing him as one of the party’s committed grassroots workers.
The visit is seen as a reflection of the party’s efforts to stand by its senior workers, particularly those who played a role in building the organisation during challenging times.
Party leaders extended their prayers for Das’s swift recovery and reaffirmed continued support to his family during this period.
