AGARTALA: The state Cabinet’s recent decision to bar senior doctors at Agartala Government Medical College and GB Hospital from attending patients at private chambers has drawn praise from the medical fraternity, with eminent physician Dr. Pradip Bhowmik welcoming the move as a significant step in public interest.
Reacting to the decision, Dr. Bhowmik said the restriction on private practice by senior government doctors would help improve the overall standard of healthcare services within government hospitals.
