Bishalgarh:Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday inaugurated the newly constructed Dakshineswari Kalibari Temple at Bishalgarh, amid a gathering of devotees and local residents who turned up in large numbers to witness the occasion.
The inauguration ceremony was conducted with traditional rituals, marking a significant moment for the local community, for whom the temple holds deep religious and cultural importance.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated the temple committee and local residents for successfully completing the construction of the temple, describing it as a reflection of the community’s devotion and collective effort. He expressed hope that the temple would serve as an important centre of faith and spiritual gathering for devotees in the region for years to come.
The Chief Minister also highlighted the state government’s continued support towards the preservation and promotion of religious and cultural heritage sites across Tripura, asserting that such initiatives strengthen social harmony and communal bonding among people.
