BJP Holds Roadside Meeting Against Alleged CPM Propaganda Over Manisha Das Death

Agartala: A roadside meeting was organised today in the Kathaltali area of Agartala under the leadership of local MLA Ramprasad Pal, in protest against what BJP leaders termed a deliberate campaign of misinformation by CPM State Secretary Jiten Chowdhury and his party, centring on the death of Manisha Das.

Addressing the gathering, MLA Ramprasad Pal alleged that the CPM was attempting to conceal the actual facts surrounding the incident and was instead engaging in false propaganda aimed at tarnishing the image of the BJP. He claimed that such efforts were a deliberate political tactic to mislead the public and create unnecessary controversy.

Local villagers and party workers who attended the meeting were urged to come forward and speak the truth, with leaders asserting that the real facts of the case would soon be brought before the public to counter what they described as a baseless and malicious narrative.

The BJP leadership reiterated its commitment to ensuring justice in the matter through proper legal channels, while accusing the opposition of politicising the tragic incident for electoral gain.

The meeting concluded with calls for continued vigilance against what speakers called organised disinformation campaigns targeting the ruling party.
