Blood Donation Camp Held Ahead of TGEA’s 54th Central Conference

Agartala: A voluntary blood donation camp was organised at the TGEA office here ahead of the organisation’s 54th Central Conference.

Leader of Opposition Jitendra Chowdhury attended the event, along with other dignitaries and TGEA members.

The camp saw enthusiastic participation from members and local residents, who came forward to donate blood as part of the initiative held in the run-up to the conference. Organisers said the drive reflected the spirit of social responsibility with which the conference is being observed.

The blood donation camp was among the preliminary activities organised by TGEA to mark the occasion, with the central conference expected to bring together members and delegates from across the state in the coming days.

Speaking on the occasion, the Leader of Opposition underlined the importance of voluntary blood donation as a life-saving act and commended the initiative undertaken by TGEA ahead of its central conference.

The event added a note of social commitment to the run-up of the conference, with organisers expressing hope that such humanitarian gestures would continue to accompany the organisation’s future programmes as well.
