AMC Mayor Reviews Ground-Level Infrastructure, Directs Rapid Execution in Ward 11

Agartala: In a bid to ensure the timely completion and quality control of localized infrastructure initiatives, Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Mayor Dipak Majumder on Saturday conducted a comprehensive, ground-level inspection of various ongoing civic projects across Ward No. 11.

The Mayor was accompanied by a high-level delegation, including members of the Mayor-in-Council, local ward corporators, and senior engineers from the municipal corporation and relevant departments. The joint visit targeted critical municipal sectors, notably checking the progress of internal road link construction, civic body structural offices, and public utility projects.

During the field evaluation, Mayor Majumder interacted with site supervisors and strongly emphasized minimizing public inconvenience during construction. He explicitly directed officials to strictly monitor the construction materials to ensure high developmental standards, warning that no negligence or delays would be tolerated.

“Our primary goal is to ensure that the basic civic facilities reach every household seamlessly,” Majumder stated, highlighting that boosting micro-level urban development across all wards remains the top priority of the Agartala Municipal Corporation. Ward residents welcomed the active administrative oversight, expressing hope that the inspection would expedite long-pending public works.
