Agartala: The Baba Lokenath Temple here celebrated the Avirbhav Divas (Advent Day) of Shri Shri Baba Lokenath Brahmachari on Friday amid religious solemnity, drawing a large turnout of devotees from morning onwards.
Devotees from far and wide arrived at the temple to offer worship and prayers at the feet of Baba Lokenath. Various religious rituals, puja and devotional programmes were organised through the day, lending the temple complex a distinctly spiritual atmosphere. Many devotees came with family members to seek blessings and pray for the wellbeing of their households.
An air of festivity marked the temple premises since early morning, with devotees displaying considerable enthusiasm and fervour. Maintaining discipline, they queued in an orderly manner to offer worship and have darshan. Temple authorities made special arrangements to ensure the convenience of the visiting devotees.
