Agartala: Shri Kiran Gitte, Secretary, Information, Cultural Affairs (ICA) Department, addressed a press meet today on the ongoing Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, held at the Press Conference Hall, Civil Secretariat, Agartala.
The briefing, convened at 3:50 PM, was attended by representatives from various media houses covering the campaign’s rollout in the state.
The Har Ghar Tiranga initiative, part of the wider Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav movement, encourages citizens to hoist the national flag at their homes as a mark of patriotic pride and to commemorate India’s freedom struggle.
During the meet, officials are learnt to have discussed the campaign’s outreach plan across Tripura, including administrative arrangements and public participation measures aimed at ensuring the Tricolour reaches every household in the state.
The ICA Department’s News Bureau had earlier issued a notice inviting media coverage of the press meet, underlining the government’s continued push to popularise the campaign at the grassroots level.
