Agartala: Development work has begun at the Trauma Care Centre of Agartala Government Medical College and GB Hospital, following a recent inspection by Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha.
As part of this initiative, a new service has been launched at the centre aimed at providing patients with faster and improved medical treatment.
Hospital authorities have claimed that the new measure will make emergency medical care more effective and time-sensitive, ensuring better outcomes for patients requiring urgent attention.
The upgrade to the Trauma Care Centre comes amid the state government’s continued focus on strengthening healthcare infrastructure at GB Hospital, one of the primary referral hospitals in Tripura. The Chief Minister’s visit is understood to have prompted authorities to expedite improvements at the facility.
