AGARTALA: A district-level review meeting of the Animal Resource Development (ARD), Scheduled Castes Welfare (SC&W), and Fisheries departments was held on Tuesday at the Conference Hall of the State Guest House (Sonar Tori) here, in the presence of ARD & Dairy Development Minister Sudhangshu Das.
The meeting was convened to assess the progress and implementation status of various schemes and programmes under the three departments at the district level.
Minister Sudhangshu Das reviewed departmental performance and discussed strategies to improve service delivery, scheme execution, and beneficiary outreach across the districts.
Senior officials from the ARD, SC&W, and Fisheries departments attended the session, presenting updates on ongoing projects and highlighting challenges in implementation.
The Minister is learnt to have urged officials to expedite pending works and ensure the timely completion of schemes aimed at benefiting farmers, fisherfolk, and members of Scheduled Caste communities across the state.
