AGARTALA: The Sadar Divisional Committee of the Students’ Federation of India (SFI) organised a blood donation camp at Melarmath Chhatra Yuva Bhavan in memory of Shaheed Arun Dev, remembered as a hero of Tripura’s struggle for the restoration of democracy.
The camp saw participation from students and local residents, with the initiative aimed at honouring the martyr’s legacy through community service.
Among those present at the event were West District CPI(M) Secretary Ratan Das and other party and organisational leaders, along with SFI State President Pritam Sheel.
Speaking on the occasion, leaders reportedly paid tribute to Arun Dev’s contribution to the democratic movement in the state and urged the youth to continue engaging in social welfare activities.
The blood donation camp is part of a series of similar events held annually across the state by SFI units to commemorate leaders and activists associated with Tripura’s political history.
