AGARTALA: Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu visited “Ashroy,” the government housing shelter built for pensioners, located in front of B.T. College here, and interacted with residents of the facility.
During his visit, the Governor took stock of the living conditions and amenities provided at the shelter, engaging with the elderly residents to understand their experiences and concerns at the government-run facility.
Following the visit, the Governor met members of the press and spoke at length on the matter, sharing his observations from the interaction with the pensioners.
The visit comes as part of the Governor’s continued engagement with welfare institutions across the state, reflecting on the government’s efforts toward elderly care and pension-related housing support in Tripura.
