AGARTALA: The 8 No. Town Bordowali Mandal of the Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday paid heartfelt tribute to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee, the founder and guiding spirit of the party, on the occasion of his martyrdom day, observed annually as Balidan Diwas.
The tribute programme was organised with due solemnity and respect, marking the death anniversary of the BJP’s founding leader, who is remembered for his contribution to the nation’s political and ideological foundations.
8 No. Town Bordowali Mandal president Shyamal Kumar Deb was present at the event and led the homage. He was joined by other office-bearers and karyakartas of the mandal, who paid floral tributes and observed the occasion with reverence.
