AGARTALA: A three-day workshop on film, television and media was organised at the Agartala Press Club through the joint initiative of the Nilkantha Society Cultural Organisation and the Kolkata Film and Television Institute.
The inaugural session was attended by eminent journalist Sanit Devroy, along with officials of the organising bodies. The workshop is being conducted with the objective of imparting hands-on training and fostering discussions on various aspects of filmmaking, television production and mass media among participants.
Speaking at the inaugural function, officials highlighted the importance of equipping young students and cultural enthusiasts with practical, industry-relevant skills in an era where media and entertainment platforms are rapidly evolving.
The organisers expressed hope that the initiative would provide aspiring students and cultural workers from the younger generation an opportunity to gain real-world experience in the field of film and media production, potentially opening avenues for future career prospects.
