AGARTALA: TET-qualified job aspirants on Tuesday submitted a deputation to the Tripura Board of Recruitment for Teachers (TRBT) and the Elementary Education Department, demanding early completion of the recruitment process for UGT and GT posts.
In their memorandum, the aspirants demanded that TRBT publish the Recommended List for UGT (Undergraduate Teacher) and GT (Graduate Teacher) candidates who cleared the 2024 Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) at the earliest.
The candidates also urged the department to issue a new job notification to accommodate the remaining eligible aspirants, and called for the entire recruitment process for all UGT and GT posts to be completed without further delay.
The deputation reflects mounting frustration among TET-qualified candidates over prolonged delays in the recruitment timeline since the 2024 examination.
There was no immediate response from TRBT or the Elementary Education Department on the demands raised.
