Free Health Camp Organised at Dashamighat’s Snehamoyee Ashram

AGARTALA: A free health camp was organised on Sunday at Dashamighat by the Shri Shri Maa Snehamoyee Ashram Trust, offering health check-ups and medical consultations to the general public.

The camp was formally inaugurated by West Tripura District Magistrate Dr. Vishal Kumar. Mayor-in-Council Tushar Kanti Bhattacharjee, along with officials of the Shri Shri Maa Snehamoyee Ashram Trust, was also present on the occasion.

Various health check-ups and medical advisory services were made available to attendees free of cost. Representatives of the Trust said the initiative was undertaken with the objective of ensuring healthcare reaches people from all sections of society, particularly those who may otherwise have limited access to regular medical care.

The event drew a steady turnout through the day, with residents from the surrounding areas availing themselves of the free services on offer. Officials of the Trust reiterated their commitment to organising such welfare initiatives periodically, in keeping with the Ashram’s broader mission of community service.

The District Magistrate, in his remarks, is understood to have appreciated the Trust’s efforts and underlined the importance of such camps in strengthening access to primary healthcare in urban and semi-urban localities.
