Rani Bazar Royal Welfare Society Unveils Puja Theme, Hosts Mega Blood Donation and Health Camps

AGARTALA: The Rani Bazar Royal Welfare Society organised the unveiling of its Durga Puja theme alongside a mega blood donation camp, a free health camp, and the distribution of educational materials to underprivileged students, in the area adjoining Rani Bazar police station on Sunday.

Minister Sushanta Chowdhury attended the event along with other dignitaries, lending support to the Society’s multi-pronged community initiative.

The blood donation camp saw participation from donors across the locality, while the health camp offered free check-ups and medical consultations to residents. As part of the day’s programme, educational materials were also distributed to underprivileged students, aimed at supporting their continued schooling.

The unveiling of the Puja theme generated considerable interest among residents, marking the informal start of Durga Puja preparations in the Rani Bazar area.

Organisers said the combination of festive, social and welfare activities reflects the Society’s broader commitment to community service alongside its cultural engagements.
