AGARTALA: The 43rd Annual General Meeting of the Tripura State Co-operative Bank Limited was held on Saturday at Nazrul Kalakshetra here, drawing senior government officials and banking dignitaries.
Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy and Cooperatives Minister Shulka Charan Noatia attended the event as guests of honour, alongside Co-operative Bank Chairman Nagadhiraj Dutta and other senior officials. The proceedings began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the ministers and dignitaries present.
The Annual General Meeting reviewed the bank’s performance over the past year, with officials expected to have presented financial statements, growth figures, and future plans for the institution’s cooperative banking network across the state. Senior bank officials and shareholder representatives were also present at the gathering.
The Tripura State Co-operative Bank has played a significant role in extending credit and financial services to the state’s cooperative sector, including agricultural and rural credit societies.
