Tripura Governor to Visit Gomati Milk Co-operative Union Tomorrow

Agartala: Governor of Tripura, Shri Indra Sena Reddy Nallu, is scheduled to visit the Gomati Milk Co-operative Union Limited at Indranagar tomorrow, according to an official notification issued to all concerned media houses.

The visit forms part of the Governor’s ongoing engagements with cooperative institutions and rural development initiatives across the state. The Gomati Milk Co-operative Union Limited has been playing a significant role in supporting local dairy farmers in the region, and the Governor’s visit is expected to draw attention to the contributions of cooperative societies in strengthening the rural economy.

Officials at the Raj Bhavan said the visit is intended to allow the Governor to interact with members and staff of the cooperative, review its operations, and gain firsthand insight into the functioning of the dairy union. Such visits are seen as an opportunity for the Governor to encourage cooperative-based enterprises that contribute to farmer welfare and self-reliance in the agricultural and allied sectors.

Members of the Gomati Milk Co-operative Union Limited are reportedly making arrangements to welcome the Governor and present an overview of the union’s activities, achievements, and future plans during the visit.

Local administration and security personnel are expected to be present to ensure smooth conduct of the programme. Media houses have been formally notified of the schedule to facilitate coverage of the event.

Further details regarding the exact timing and itinerary of the Governor’s visit are awaited from the Raj Bhavan.
