Tricolour In Every Home: CM Urges Tripura To Join Har Ghar Tiranga Drive

Agartala, August 7: Chief Minister of Tripura has appealed to all citizens of the state to actively participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and hoist the national flag at their homes with pride.

In a public appeal issued today, the Chief Minister urged residents across Tripura to join what he described as a noble mission of patriotism, unity, and national pride, encouraging every household to display the Tricolour as a mark of collective national spirit.

“The Tricolour in every home, patriotism in every heart,” the appeal stated, calling on citizens to make the campaign a resounding success through active participation.

The Har Ghar Tiranga initiative, part of the wider Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav movement, aims to foster a sense of personal connection to the national flag and deepen public awareness of India’s freedom struggle. The campaign has been observed annually since its launch, with state governments, district administrations, and civic bodies coordinating outreach to ensure widespread participation.

Officials in Tripura are expected to carry out awareness drives and distribution arrangements in the coming days to support the campaign’s implementation across urban and rural households.
