AGARTALA: A two-year-old girl died after drowning in a pond near her residence in the Hatimara area under Champahour Police Station in Khowai district.
The deceased has been identified as Ilimi Debbarma. According to local sources, the child reportedly fell into the pond located close to her house, leading to the tragic incident.
