AGARTALA: The admission process for the 2026 academic session got underway at various degree colleges across the state, with long queues of students and parents witnessed at premier institutions including MBB College and Women’s College in Agartala.
Prospective students were seen thronging the admission counters from early morning, submitting applications and seeking guidance on course options, eligibility criteria, and seat availability for the upcoming session.
Speaking on the occasion, MBB College Principal Dr. Arjun Gope shared details regarding the institution’s admission process for this year, including the steps being taken to ensure a smooth and transparent procedure for applicants.
College authorities at both institutions said adequate arrangements, including help desks and additional staff, had been put in place to assist students through the admission formalities and address queries on the spot.
Officials said the admission process is expected to continue over the coming days, with further details on cut-off marks, merit lists, and counselling schedules to be announced subsequently by the respective institutions.
