JIRANIA: An administrative meeting on preparations for Durga Puja in Jirania was held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Minister Sushanta Chowdhury.
The meeting brought together local administration officials, representatives of various departments and members of the public, who filled the conference hall. Minister Chowdhury addressed the gathering and took part in the discussions, seated alongside senior officials.
Coordination meetings of this kind are held ahead of the festival to review arrangements for the smooth and peaceful conduct of the pujas, with civic amenities, traffic management and law and order typically on the agenda.
