AGARTALA: An organisational convention for motor workers was held at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan here to mark National Drivers’ Day, organised by the All Driver and Co-Driver Association, which functions under the approval of the Mazdoor Monitoring Cell.
Former Union Minister of State Pratima Bhowmik attended the event along with other dignitaries and association members, joining motor workers from across the state in observing the occasion.
The convention brought together drivers and co-drivers to mark the day, which is observed nationally in recognition of the contribution of driving professionals to transport and public safety.
