KHUMULWNG: Miscreants attacked the BJP party office at ADC headquarters Khumulwng, under Radhapur police station, in broad daylight on Saturday, vandalising 12 motorbikes and two cars parked at the premises. No casualties have been reported so far.
The attack comes amid an unresolved rift within the ruling coalition between BJP and Tipra Motha over the ADC Chief Executive Member (CEM/VC) election. Both parties have reportedly been making frequent visits to Delhi in recent days, with BJP leaders holding multiple rounds of meetings with the party’s central leadership to resolve the impasse.
Following the incident, allegations have been directed at Tipra Motha, the party currently holding power in the ADC, though no official confirmation of involvement has been made. The attack triggered widespread commotion in the area, prompting authorities to deploy heavy security around the BJP office and its surroundings.
Police are yet to make any arrests in connection with the incident.
