KAILASHAHAR: A local court here has sentenced Shankar Das, alias Abhi, a resident of Gournagar in Kailashahar, to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment after convicting him in a case involving the rape of a mentally challenged girl.
According to case details, Das was accused of sexually assaulting the minor victim, who suffers from a mental disability, leading to the registration of a case against him under relevant sections of law.
