Bishalgarh: The final match of the “Operation Sindoor Season 2” football tournament was held on Wednesday afternoon at Karaimura School Ground in Bishalgarh, drawing a large turnout of spectators from across the area.
The final was formally inaugurated by former Chief Minister of Tripura, Biplab Kumar Deb, marking the culmination of the tournament’s second season. Two strong contending teams, Karaimura Play Centre and Badharghat Play Centre, faced off in the summit clash, with both sides putting up a competitive fight before an enthusiastic crowd.
Spectators were seen thronging the ground in large numbers throughout the match, reflecting the popularity the tournament has gained locally since its inception.
Among the dignitaries present at the final were local MLA Sushanta Deb, North District President Biplab Chakraborty, and Bishalgarh Block Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Atashi Das, along with several other local leaders and officials who attended to witness the proceedings.
