AGARTALA:An engineering student, identified as Rohan Giri, was found dead under circumstances his family has described as mysterious, in the Chanmari area of Agartala, sources said.
According to family members, Giri reportedly left behind messages addressed to his parents before his death. His father, a retired Army jawan, has demanded a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding his son’s death, calling it unexplained.
Police have not yet issued an official statement confirming the cause of death, and details of any formal complaint or FIR remain unavailable at this time.
Neighbours described Giri as a meritorious student pursuing engineering, and news of his death has left the locality in shock.
