Teachers and students at Arjun Prasad Rowaja Para SB School, located in Golsingpara village under Poangbari Block in South Tripura, have long been suffering from various infrastructural problems. The school has no boundary wall around its premises. Additionally, the tin roofing of the school building has deteriorated, causing rainwater to leak into classrooms during the monsoon season and disrupting lessons.
Locals allege that despite repeatedly bringing the matter to the attention of the concerned department, no permanent measures have been taken so far. Parents and area residents have demanded the swift construction of a boundary wall and replacement of the damaged tin roofing, in the interest of providing students a safe learning environment. They believe that if repair work does not begin immediately, the situation could worsen further during the monsoon.
Local residents have called for urgent intervention and necessary action from the concerned administration in this regard.
