AGARTALA: Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha is scheduled to attend the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the State Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (SIPARD), Directorate of Industries & Commerce, and Directorate of Skill Development on July 28.
The event will be held at Pragna Bhavan, Hall-1, Agartala, at 11:00 AM, in the presence of the Chief Minister as the chief guest.
The MoU is expected to pave the way for collaboration between the NSE and the state government departments, aimed at strengthening skill development initiatives and enhancing financial literacy among the state’s youth and entrepreneurs. Officials indicate the partnership will focus on capacity building programmes designed to bridge the gap between industry requirements and available skilled manpower in Tripura.
The collaboration is also expected to open new avenues for training in areas related to capital markets, financial services, and allied sectors, potentially boosting employment opportunities for the state’s youth.
Senior officials from SIPARD, the Directorate of Industries & Commerce, and the Directorate of Skill Development, along with representatives from NSE, are expected to be present at the signing ceremony.
