Khowai: A body was recovered from a forest stream in the Lathabari Radhanagar Akhrapara area under Khowai Police Station. The deceased has been identified as Badal Santal, 50.
According to preliminary information, Santal had left home on July 23 to collect firewood from the nearby forest but did not return afterward. His prolonged absence had raised concern among family members.
