AGARTALA: Tripura Pradesh Youth Congress President Nilkamal Saha, along with party leaders, visited the residence of Manashree Chowdhury at Chowmuhani Para in Hapania, in connection with her ongoing medical treatment.
During the visit, the Youth Congress leadership announced that a fundraising drive would be launched from Wednesday to help meet the financial requirements for Manashree’s treatment.
Saha said party workers across every district of the state would be mobilised to collect contributions, with the funds raised subsequently handed over to Manashree’s parents to support the treatment costs.
The nature of Manashree’s medical condition and the total amount required for her treatment have not been disclosed.
The initiative comes as part of the Youth Congress’s outreach efforts, with the party leadership expressing solidarity with the family during a difficult time.
