AGARTALA: BJP National General Secretary and Lok Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb lit a lamp in front of Ujjayanta Palace here on Thursday, marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday.
The event forms part of the ‘Ashish Barta Pradip’ programme under Tripura’s month-long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan,’ running from September 17 to October 17, which commemorates Modi’s 25 years in public service. Ujjayanta Palace is among the key sites identified for campaign events across the state, alongside Jagannath Dighi, Laxmi Narayan Dighi, and the Mata Tripura Sundari Temple in Udaipur.
