AGARTALA: Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha lit a lamp at the Mata Tripura Sundari Temple, Matabari, on Thursday.
The visit came on the opening day of Tripura’s month-long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan,’ running from September 17 to October 17, which marks Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public service. The campaign, announced by Dr Saha earlier this week, includes a series of programmes across the state, among them a lamp-lighting initiative titled ‘Ashish Barta Pradip,’ with events planned at religious and cultural sites including the Matabari temple.
