BELBARI: Barmura Nareng Jomi High School in Udaising, under the Inspector of Schools office, Belbari, West Tripura district, is allegedly grappling with persistent teacher absenteeism and infrastructural problems, including lack of drinking water, according to sources at the school.
Locals and school sources allege that teachers frequently fail to report on time, with classes reportedly going unattended for hours even after school begins. The lack of adequate infrastructure, particularly drinking water, has reportedly compounded difficulties for students.
Sources further allege that the situation has affected the quality of education at the institution, raising concerns over the academic future of students in the hill areas. The Inspector of Schools office, Belbari, and the concerned department have been accused by locals of remaining indifferent to the school’s condition.
