Sepahijala District Panchayat Honored at BJP HQ After Securing National Award in Delhi

Agartala: Following its stellar performance in rural governance and infrastructure development, Tripura’s Sepahijala District Panchayat was honored with a prestigious national award in New Delhi. On Saturday, the triumphant local governance team visited the ruling party’s state headquarters to share the milestone.

During a formal ceremony at the state party office, the delegation proudly handed over the national accolades to Tripura BJP State President Abhishek Debroy. Expressing immense pride in their grassroots execution, President Debroy extended a warm reception to the panchayat representatives, honoring them with traditional stoles and mementos.

Speaking on the occasion, Debroy lauded the Sepahijala District Panchayat for setting a benchmark in transparency and the swift implementation of welfare schemes. He noted that the recognition from New Delhi validates the state government’s commitment to the mantra of “Gram Unnati” (rural progress).
