Kamalasagar: Students who successfully cleared the Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examinations were felicitated at a reception organised by 15 Kamalasagar Mandal of the BJP at Kajaria Community Hall on Friday afternoon.
The event was attended by BJP Pradesh State President Abhishek Dev Roy, Sipahijala District (North) Yuva Morcha President Saikat Saha, District North President Biplab Chakraborty, local MLA Antara Sarkar Dev, and Yuva Morcha State President Arindam Dev, among other dignitaries. Teachers from various schools and a large number of students were also present at the felicitation programme.
Addressing the gathering, BJP Pradesh State President Abhishek Dev Roy said people need to stay updated on a daily basis, urging students to keep pace with changing times and continue striving for excellence in their academic pursuits.
The programme was organised to encourage and motivate students who had performed well in this year’s board examinations, with party leaders lauding their achievements and urging them to aim higher in their future endeavours. Several meritorious students were honoured individually during the event, which saw considerable participation from the local community, students and their families.
The Mandal leadership said such initiatives would continue in the future to recognise and encourage academic excellence among students in the constituency.
