AGARTALA: An important organisational meeting of the BJP was held at the State Guest House here ahead of the upcoming Village Committee (VC) elections, with detailed discussions on poll preparations and the party’s strategy for the days ahead.
The meeting was attended by BJP’s all-India general secretary BL Santosh, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, state president Abhishek Debroy, along with other senior party leaders and workers.
Special emphasis was placed on strengthening organisational preparedness for the elections, boosting grassroots-level activism among workers, and highlighting the state government’s development initiatives among the public. After reviewing the electoral situation, party leaders and workers were also urged to work in unity.
Political observers termed the meeting, held in the presence of the party’s national leadership, highly significant, noting that important directions were issued on strengthening the BJP’s organisational programmes and campaign strategy ahead of the polls.
Considerable enthusiasm was witnessed among BJP leaders and workers at the venue during the meeting.
