SEPAHIJALA: A sudden bus-checking operation by police created considerable stir at Bishramganj on the Agartala-Jatanbari route, after a large contingent of security personnel, led by senior officers, intercepted and searched a passenger bus.
Acting on secret information, police set up a checkpoint (naka) at Bishramganj Police Station, where the Additional Superintendent of Police of Sepahijala district, along with the Officer-in-Charge of Bishramganj Police Station and a large police team, stopped the bus and conducted a thorough search.
