Agartala: The 80th Independence Day was observed at Tripura Gramin Bank’s head office in Abhoynagar, with the ceremonial hoisting of the national flag.
The flag was hoisted by the Chairman of Tripura Gramin Bank, along with other senior officials and staff members of the bank who gathered to mark the occasion.
The ceremony was conducted with due dignity, reflecting the spirit of patriotism observed across financial institutions and government offices throughout the state. Bank employees paid tribute to the freedom fighters whose sacrifices secured the nation’s independence.
The observance at Tripura Gramin Bank formed part of a broader series of Independence Day celebrations held across Agartala and the wider state, as various institutions joined in commemorating eight decades of India’s freedom.
